Meet Gert!

 Gert is a SEE turtle from the sea. Gert was born on Seegrove Lane in Mild Dunes, SC to a family of loggerhead sea turtles. Instead of joining her brothers and sisters as they were swimming out to sea, she decided to follow her dream to stay on the beach and learn all she can while living on the coast. Gert’s mother gave her a “pearls of wisdom” necklace to wear as a reminder to make wise choices as she explores her new world.
